I Love Craigslist…For the Lulz

The other day I posted a listing on Craigslist for our fish tank setup.  I’ve gotten a few inquiries here and there, mostly people asking if I’d be willing to part out pieces of equipment to sell or even inquiring about equipment that I don’t even have listed for sale. Bye Bye Fishies

Well, I sold off all of my fish yesterday. I was surprisingly verklempt about the whole thing afterwards. We’re Buying a New House!

So after about a year and a half of thinking about it, and about a half year seriously looking, we signed a contract Saturday morning on a new house!  We’re super excited, as it’s brand new construction, in a great location.  The lot has a huge backyard, and the house backs up to the hills, so there are no rear neighbors, and it’s super private. Beware the Bouncy Balls

Let me first say that anyone who comes to our house should never bring any sort of inflatable ball.  Because it will be destroyed within minutes, nay, seconds.  Every once in a blue moon, Marc and I get the bright idea to pick up some sort of cheap, bouncing ball thinking that it would be fun for the dogs to play with.  And every time, the dogs’ eyes light up, and they’re super excited about this new toy, and within seconds of possessing it, there is a loud ‘POP!’, and suddenly the dog is carrying around a sad, deflated piece of rubber. Bandit at least has the sense not to eat the rubber. Riker, sadly, does not.   Continue Reading →
