This morning on my way to work I was listening to the radio, and they were talking about old cartoons. They were playing an old recording of the "He-Man" theme. I used to love He-Man! I remember when I was a little kid, and they released the toys, and my dad would take me to K-Mart when the store would open and the toys were still in their shipping boxes. Those were good times. :) I think I had He-Man, Cringer/Battlecat, Skeletor, Panthor, and She-Ra and her horse, Spirit. I still have those toys somewhere, lol.
Anyways, the He-Man theme was cool. But then they played the She-Ra theme song, which I'd totally forgotten. It was horrible! It was just amazing in its awfulness. They also played the Thundercats theme - "Thundercats, Thundercats, Thundercats, HO!!!" I actually hated that cartoon, because the girl that lived next door loved it, and always wanted to play Thundercats with me. I actually found her annoying, but she still kept coming over to our house. I don't know if my mom remembers, but this girl always came over to our house and ate our rice.
I remember all the cartoons I used to watch - My Little Pony, Care Bears, Transformers, Go-Bots, Bionic Six, Voltron - I miss any? Ah, the good 'ol days. Nowadays, cartoons seem like crap (although I loved Beast Wars, Batman, and Spiderman). I think Barney and the Power Rangers was the start of the downfall of children's television. Of course, I hear the She-Ra song, and wonder if maybe they were just as crummy back then. ;)

Just think how I feel. I loved Mr. Magoo and had to go to the show to see him.
did you watch GI Joe, Robotech, or Beverly Hill Teens? i think i'm the only one that remembers Beverly Hill Teens...the cartoon with Bianca and Troy and the limo with the swimming pool.
Mr. Magoo? Was he like Spongebob Squarepants? ;)
I totally remember Beverly Hills Teens! I used to watch GI Joe too, it's where I learned how to stop nosebleeds.
