Melanie scanned the polaroid she took in class of Bandit and Lucas lovin' on each other and sent it to me last night. The two of them had been totally snuggling up in class, it was hilarious.
The rain was over by morning yesterday, so we were able to go to agility class in the evening. Bandit and I looked like total rookies. I'm hoping he settles down after a couple weeks, because right now he's still so distracted about being in a new place.
It turns out I also need to get a pair of cleats. We went to the Sports Chalet last night to look, and the guy who was helping us asked me what sport this was for. I sheepishly told him it was for dog agility. To his credit, he didn't laugh. We didn't find the kind we were looking for, so I may have to try somewhere else.
I worked on the sheep costume some more last night. I finally finished the hem. So now all I have left are the little things, like the horns. Marc and I still have to get our costumes!
Awwww! I don't think I realized Lucas was a German Shepherd (at least that's what I think she is from the pic? and maybe that just means I'm a poor reader if you mentioned it already!). That totally reminds me of Socks and Nila playing during the good ol' days at my office. Sniff.
Lucas is a German Shepherd and Rottweiler mix. Weighs like 98 pounds or something, hehe.
