Ho Hum

Not a whole lot to write about today, as last night was pretty uneventful. I played on the computer a bit, then worked on Bandit's costume some more.

Stubby has been a pain of late. I don't know what's going on with him, but lately he's been harrassing Snuggles like mad. He's constantly mounting her, grabbing the scruff of her neck in his teeth and straddling her. They're both neutered, and he's not actually "doing" anything, so this may be just a dominance thing, or him getting out some urges. Either way, it's kind of annoying, though poor Snuggles doesn't seem to mind it.

What's funny is that we first noticed it when Bandit suddenly hopped up from where he was sleeping the other night and woofed like he was irritated. We saw that he was looking at the cats, who were on the counter. Bandit then ran over and put his paws on the counter and patted the cats, as if to say, "break it up, guys!"

Another cute Bandit story - the other day in class he and Lucas were playing when one of them suddenly yelped. Bandit froze in mid-play for a second and then went over to Lucas and started gingerly sniffing him on the face. It turned out that Lucas had gotten his leash caught around his leg, which had been sore, and he was the one that had yelped. The two of them are just too cute with each other.

I think the remnants of my old New Jersey accent are causing me problems when it comes to saying "Bandit." I've had a few people think his name was "Bennett." I need to work on my enunciation.

Hear about the story with the woman who came home from vacation to find another woman living in her house? The woman had broken in, moved in her dog and washer/dryer, pulled up the carpets, and painted some of the rooms, all in 2 and a half weeks. This is what the squatter looked like:
