Okay, first things first, there must be something going around with Rav4's this week. My friend Corrie blogged about a host of problems with her's, and this morning on my way to work, the check engine light came on in mine. Suck. I checked the gas cap, but that was closed properly. I came across some mentions of a faulty ECM in the '02 Rav4's, so hopefully that's the problem, and not something more serious.
Did you know that RAV4 stands for Recreational Activity Vehicle 4-wheel drive? I don't even have 4-wheel drive on mine, so I guess it's just a RAV. Or maybe a RAV2.
I took this cute little quiz today - one of those, "which one are you?" quizzes.
This is me:

It actually describes me really well, and the part about the car is so dead-on it's scary.
Okay, so The Apprentice last night (don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled). So they moved Pamela back to the girls' team, and made her project manager. I thought she did a fine job, because someone really needed to come into that team and be a bitch and kick all those girls in the ass. Which is basically what she did. They did really well on their task too, even though they ended up losing by $10.
Trump fired her anyways, saying it was because she was a poor judge of people and didn't address the failings of people at their task. WTF? She'd never worked with these girls before. She asked everyone to list their skill sets. Maria said she was great at public speaking, so she got the job of being on camera (they were selling items for QVC). She totally sucked in front of the camera, so Pamela replaced her with Jen M., who did a much better job.
Stacey (who HAS to go), was in charge of legal stuff and setting the price for the item, but got so caught up in stupid labels that Pamela ended up taking away the task of pricing and did it herself. So I'm not really sure how she didn't rectify the problems with those people.
I was with Trump on all the firings up until this one - this was wrong, wrong, wrong. Stacey absolutely should have gone, and Pamela was dead-on about why she brought her into the board room - she's constantly disruptive, and adds no value to the team.
Carolyn is starting to get a bit on my nerves too. Does she ever NOT agree with Trump's firing choice? It's time to detach your face from The Donald's ass, Carolyn. At least George got it right.

So I didn't think we had 4 wheel drive on our car either, but when they rebuilt the transmission they told us that really, there was 4 wheel drive stuff on the engine (transmission? I know nothing about cars). Or at least something about all-wheel-drive. I dunno.
Anyway, I'm still clueless about what good that actually does me, since there's nothing on the interior of the car that indicates anything aboug 4 wheel drive...
If your Rav4 is an automatic, the 4-wheel drive is always on (some cars have a switch to turn it on and off, others are always on). The upside is, having 4-wheel drive adds a little to the value of the car. :)
Ok, so I saw the encore presentation of the Apprentice on Saturday night. The "Donald" was right on, screw Pamela!! She was so annoying saying that everyone "doesn't have the business experience". She can't price a product worth anything!! Although the team did need a good kick in the ass, I hated Pamela!!
Carolyn is great!! She is much more ruthless this year. One thing that we know, don't cross George or Carolyn in the BoardRoom!! But she does get annoying by saying that "it was the right choice"!!
I love this show!!
I was bummed we missed the Saturday encore, because I wanted to see if we'd missed anything in the boardroom that might better explain why she got fired.
Saying it was "a tie" was pretty lame on her part, but still, can we please fire Stacy already? Because she's really getting on my nerves!
