Fantasy Football Debacle

| | Comments (2)

So, I'm playing in this fantasy football league this year, and I had the best record at 11-2 going into the playoffs. I just lost in the first round, thanks to stupid Jake Plummer, who posted a big fat zero. And thanks to Matt Hasselbeck, who posted 20 points and would've gotten me the win, but who I benched because he'd been playing piss-poor all year.

Anyways, last night Marc and I went to visit his mom after work, since she'd had a difficult day. A funny thing Marc did - his mom has this quirk where she likes green M&Ms the best. So everytime she always separates them out and saves them for last. So Marc went and bought a couple bags of the Christmas M&Ms (which only have red and green ones) and separated out all the green ones for her. I'd never seen someone so excited about a tub full of green M&Ms.

Afterwards, we went to the mall to pick up the second half the gift we were getting for one of those giving tree gifts from my work. I had picked a boy that wanted either a 49ers fitted cap or a CD player. We just got him both.

I also went to KB Toys to look for the Talking Edna doll from The Incredibles, but to no avail. I really think she's sold out everywhere. I found a ton on eBay, so maybe I'll have to get it from there.

Also, I finally found and won a new, better overflow box for our aquarium on eBay, so hopefully after the holidays we'll get that thing back up and running. Our snails are amazingly still alive, as are a couple hermit crabs.

Four more days of work!

That picture is tooooo cute.

And remember the days of tan m&m's? Those were even rarer than the greens -- I totally remember separating them out!

Oooh, I remember the tan ones! I wonder why they got rid of them? Shame.
