It seems to be much cooler today than the past week, which is a nice sign. Hopefully it'll stay that way tomorrow, so agility class won't get cancelled again.
I started to blog last week, but work was just insane, so I never got to finish. Anyways, I quick weekend update:
Friday we went sheep herding, and even though it was nearly 8 pm, it was still pretty darn hot. Bandit was pretty pooped afterwards, although when we were out there with the sheep, he acted like he could go on forever.
We tried to go to Borders at midnight to buy the new Harry Potter book, but we found out you had to have one reserved to buy it.
Saturday morning I was woken up early by Kenny, who was calling from Hong Kong. He sounds like he's ready to be back home, lol.
Then we went to Costco (I picked up the Harry Potter book there for cheap), and bought a few things, but not a lot, for once.
I had my riding lesson in the afternoon, and I have to admit I got a little frustrated. I think my mind wasn't totally on it, and I just wasn't thinking, so nothing was working.
Marc and I rented Hide and Seek in the evening, which was okay. Kind of freaky, but not really original or anything.
Sunday I really slept in, because we didn't have much to do, but we did pick this up in the afternoon:

We bought it for $100 off of some guy on Craigslist, and it came with the Mario game. It's pretty cool!
Yesterday I went to a used bookstore in Mountain View and picked up "The Complete Guide to Western Horsemanship," which has a bunch of pictures and diagrams, and really goes over rider and horse psychology, and the principles behind riding. So far it's really good, so I hope I can put some of the information to use.
I also got my backpack from eBags! It fits my laptop perfectly, and looks like it has plenty of room for books and other stuff, so it should be great for my trip.
I think I'm all caught up now - 4 more days until I leave, I'm starting to get those pre-travel blues.
