Marc and I went to see March of the Penguins last night. Really, really cool documentary. They basically documented how emperor penguins travel miles and miles across Antarctica to mate and raise their one chick. It's pretty amazing what they go through. And the baby penguins are soooooo cute.
Baby kitties are fun. :) Sort of overwhelming though, although I feel worse for mommy kitty, who every time she sits down has kittens clawing at her for milk. And if she gets up and walks away, she's followed around by four mewling balls of fur.
Woohoo! Marc (who has the day off) just called me from home to tell me that my PSP arrived! They shipped it next day air! Woohoo!

So last Sunday Marc and I were at Petsmart, and we were checking out all the kittens they had there for adoption. We went through our usual, "oh, let's get that one!" routine, but I don't think either of us were ready to commit long-term to another cat.
Well, the mouse saga has come to a quick and bloody end. We didn't get around to buying a mousetrap, but I had Stubby in the garage last night, and he was concentrating hard on this corner of the garage. I figured it had to be the mouse.
Yesterday, as we were walking through our garage, getting ready to leave in the morning, I saw a mouse scurry out from one corner and behind a bunch of boxes.
Whee! Marc and I just booked our anniversary vacation for Hawaii! We got a pretty good price on airfare and hotel, and we're going for 8 nights in September. I'm so excited! Hopefully this time we'll actually get to relax on the beach a little bit. ;)
Oh yay, it's Monday again.
On Friday we had herding lessons as usual, and afterwards we didn't do much of anything that I can remember. It was pretty late by the time we were done with herding, so I think we just relaxed for the rest of the night.
Late to blog, I'm pretty tired today. Marc told me that when he tried to wake me up this morning I kept mumbling something about "all this blood," which is sorta creepy.
Yikes: Man dies from gaming.
The guy even quit his job to play games more. That's really sad.
In all my excitement yesterday over my Shuffle, I totally forgot to blog about the weekend. Which, all in all, I guess wasn't that exciting anyways.
I'm stoked today!
A little over a month ago I signed up at this website for a free Ipod Shuffle. I did a little research on it, and it seemed to be a legitimate company, but I didn't want to blog about it in case it turned out to be a scam and a subsequent huge embarassment for myself. ;)
I totally forgot to blog about Harry Potter. I bought "The Half-Blood Prince" for my Buffalo trip, started reading it on the plane ride out, and finished it on the plane ride in. I won't give any spoilers, although I am dying to discuss part of it.
Well, I think we've managed to get rid of the ants for now. We were never able to find out where they were coming from, but Marc just sprayed Raid all around the bed, and last night we were thankfully able to sleep without the little buggers crawling all over us.
Last night we discovered that we had an ant problem in our bed. Our bed! So we changed the sheets, but weren't able to find the source of the ants. I woke up in the middle of the night to find an ant crawling on my ear. The rest of the night was worse, I was waking up every few minutes to get some ant off of me. It was gross.
So as you can see, I finally finished up the new design. I still have to complete the rest of the site, as I've only done the blog so far. There's other tweaks to be done as well, but hopefully the bulk of it works. I'll probably work on the other pages over the course of this week.
Let me know if anything doesn't work or doesn't look right, as well as any other suggestions.
