In all my excitement yesterday over my Shuffle, I totally forgot to blog about the weekend. Which, all in all, I guess wasn't that exciting anyways.
I had herding Friday night, while Marc babysat Jacob and Allison. Marc was so pooped when he got home that we didn't do much else that night.
Saturday was when we started our bike shopping (I didn't get around to taking pictures yesterday), and I had my riding lesson in the afternoon. I'm pretty comfortable around the horses now, although I still have a hard time getting my horse to trot.
Sunday we basically spent the entire day bike shopping. In the evening we went for a ride, taking the same route that usually takes us 45 minutes to walk. I think we rode it in about 10.
Last night we went for a longer ride, and I brought my Shuffle with me. Prior to that we went to Best Buy to buy me an armband for the Shuffle, which cost $35, pretty steep for an armband in my opinion. The Shuffle is pretty awesome though. I don't miss the display as much as I thought I would, since I can't really use one while riding or walking anyways.
After the ride, we took Bandit for a walk. We're getting double exercise now, which I guess is a good thing. It was a little hard to walk though, cause our legs felt like jello.
Today is a pretty gloomy day. Where did summer go?

I want to take up bike riding too ... gotta buy a bike.
Agree about gloomy days ... and I just bought a skirt at the Napa outlet which is a perfect summer linen skirt ... but now it's cold.
Sigh ...
