Whee! Marc and I just booked our anniversary vacation for Hawaii! We got a pretty good price on airfare and hotel, and we're going for 8 nights in September. I'm so excited! Hopefully this time we'll actually get to relax on the beach a little bit. ;)
It feels like we hardly have any free time these days, I don't know why. We've been biking and taking the dog for a walk in the evenings, and that takes about an hour, but it feels like it eats up the whole evening.
I finally got to try out my new seat, and I'm not sure that it's that much more comfortable than my old one. It feels better somehow, but it's still kind of hard. I guess you wouldn't expect to sit on a marshmallow. I think it's possible my butt is just constantly sore from both the horseback riding and the bike riding.
Oh, does anyone want a Gmail invite? Because I have like 50 of them. Gmail sucks though.

How fun! Which island(s) are you going to?
Maui again. :) Hopefully since we did a lot of stuff last time, this time we can relax a bit more, and kinda just go with the flow.
you should buy biking shorts (the ones with padding). they help a lot.
I honestly think it's just going to take time for your butt to adjust. :-) It takes me two rides or so to get used to my bike seat again if I haven't gone in a while, and I'm sure you're aggravating it with the horseback riding, too!
Yeah, you're probably right. I wonder then, if I should keep the new seat, or if the old one would have been good enough. I kinda like the new one just because it looks cooler. ;)
well, all my triatholon friends have biking shorts...then you don't have to adjust to anything. =)
