Baseball

Last night Marc and I went to go see the Giants game. Marc had gotten free tickets from work, and it just happened to be Barry Bonds' first night back after being out all year. So that was pretty cool. He nearly hit a home run in his first at-bat, and the crowd went crazy (a fan stuck his glove out and interfered with the ball, so it ended up being ruled a ground-rule double. Looking at replays though, I think it would've hit the wall anyways. The fan was ejected though - stupid idiot).

We spent like $40 on food. Marc was lamenting that his free tickets turned out to not be so free after all. I said, "we bought food to come see a game!"

It was freezing out there, but the view was incredible. I love that ballpark, it has the best atmosphere.

Pet Habits

Our pets have the quirkiest habits. Every morning when I'm done taking a shower, our shower head continues to "dribble" for a few seconds. Snuggles always comes in, stands under the water for a little bit so that it's pitter-pattering on her back, and then walks out and licks the water off. Then Stubby comes over and helps her out (Stubby never goes under the water himself, but he'll go in the shower and lick the water off the shampoo bottles).

Bandit's gotten into a new odd habit. You know how doors have those spring stoppers on the bottom? Lately, when we're going to bed, Bandit will leave the room and go sleep somewhere else (I think he sleeps in the loft). Our door is usually half open, but before he walks out, he'll take his paw and whack the spring stopper so that it goes "twannnngggg." He'll turn around and look at us, and then he leaves the room. I thought at first he did it to open the door, but he'll do it even when the door is open wide enough, and most times when he does it the door doesn't move anyways.

Pets are weird.
