Happy Halloween!

| | Comments (0)

It figures that Bush would choose Halloween to introduce a Supreme Court nominee that's truly frightening. Snerk.

While I'm generally tired of politics these days, the nominees are still interesting to me just because they're so damn important. Alito strikes me as a worst-case scenario. It doesn't really surprise me though - I thought after Miers got pushed out, Bush might cave to the far-right wing of his party.

THE. BEST. BOARDROOM. EVER!!!

Don't read if you haven't seen it yet and don't want to be spoiled.

The Week's Half Over

This morning, the guy who usually makes my coffee was back. I hadn't seen him there for the past few weeks. Thank goodness, because I was tired of having to actually order my coffee and wait for it. Ha!

Busy Weekend

| | Comments (1)

We were pretty busy this weekend. Friday we didn't do much though, I think we just ended up watching Batman Begins on DVD. We also went to Good Guys, which is closing a bunch of stores, and I got a sports case for my iPod Shuffle for 30% off.

Busted!

I took Bandit to agility class last night (he did awesome). On my way back home, I stopped for gas, and realized that I'd left my wallet at home. Luckily, I had enough in the tank for the trip home.

One More Thing

Forgot to add that I got my $250 from another freebie site! Woohoo!

Weekend

I didn't go into work on Friday. I was having some stomach issues on Thursday, and really didn't feel like going in on Friday and dealing with it again, so I stayed home. I ended up napping most of the afternoon.

Bad Dog

Came home from work yesterday, and found that Bandit had been a Bad Dog. Normally, he stays in the house during the day, and he's fine. But he must have been frustrated about something yesterday. In our bedroom, he'd taken the cats' bed out from under our bed and pulled the inside cushin out (didn't tear it up though, surprisingly).

My AOL Customer Service Story

Since Corrie asked for it. :)

(I typed this out as a comment to the last entry, but it was spectacularly long, so I've decided to just move it here.)

I Feel Bad

Every once in a while, I get a phone call from the Sierra Club, which I donate to. I must have expressed an interest in volunteering at one point, but I think I was probably thinking along the lines of mailing fliers or something.

Heartbreaker

Cal lost its first game of the season this Saturday to UCLA. Talk about devastating. How can you pile up 330 yards rushing, score 40 points, and still lose? I think we'll only get better as the year goes on though - Oregon and USC should be interesting games.

Friday!

I've been bad about blogging this week. I guess there hasn't been too much going on lately, other than being busy both at work and at home. Although I did get approved for my free Xbox 360, and should be getting that after it's released! I'm also waiting on approval for my iPod Nano, $250, and a Nintendo DS which will be a gift for Kenny.

I Can't Win

So when we were in Hawaii, I got what I thought was a bug bite on my back. Then one morning it got sorty scabby, like I'd scratched it in my sleep or something. Over the next few days, the middle part of it sort of flaked away, and it left a red ring, which I think might be ringworm.

This morning, Marc and I found a roll of toilet paper on our bed. Your guess is as good as ours.

(Though we suspect Snuggles to be the culprit.)
