Came home from work yesterday, and found that Bandit had been a Bad Dog. Normally, he stays in the house during the day, and he's fine. But he must have been frustrated about something yesterday. In our bedroom, he'd taken the cats' bed out from under our bed and pulled the inside cushin out (didn't tear it up though, surprisingly).
Then, I noticed that he'd also pulled one of the mats from our bathroom into our bedroom. When I picked it up, I discovered that he'd peed on it. Lovely.
Next to that carnage, I found my packet of birth control pills. He'd chewed a corner of it, and had EATEN ONE. I called the vet just to make sure that he'd be fine (the tech joked that if he'd been a girl, I might have noticed some hormonal changes). Good thing he's not a breeding male, haha.
Speaking of breeders: Woman has 16th child and wants more. I'm sure they're nice people and all, but seriously people, STOP. News Flash! The underpopuplation crisis is over! You can stop procreating like bunnies now!
We've gotten a few inquiries on the kittens so far. Most of the people are interested in Peanut and Dewey, which isn't a surprise. I think I've got at least a couple people lined up to check them out this weekend, and I'm pretty nervous about interviewing people. I'm also reluctant to let the little guys go, hehe.
We've been letting them roam the house a bit more, and Stubby seems to have finally come into an acceptance phase. He doesn't really hiss at them anymore, and in fact he actually plays games with them. He's like Uncle Stubby now. Even Bandit isn't nearly as afraid of them as before. He's been sniffing noses a lot with Peanut, and he likes to hang out and watch them.
I'm gonna miss them!

That must have been quite a day for Bandit... Maybe he got gender confusion and was trying to make sure he wasn't pregnant? Confused the bath mat for a pregnancy test, then tried to back it up with a pill? Can't explain the cat bed, though...
Ohh...maybe the cat bed was out because he slept with one of the cats, and THAT led to the pregnancy scare.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's gender confused, he does have a small little peeper.
Don't animals start acting crazy like this just before an earthquake? *DUCK*
