Cal lost its first game of the season this Saturday to UCLA. Talk about devastating. How can you pile up 330 yards rushing, score 40 points, and still lose? I think we'll only get better as the year goes on though - Oregon and USC should be interesting games.
Our kitties are up for adoption! I'm going to be really sad to see them go, I'm really starting to get attached to them. You can see their ad on craigslist here.
This weekend was pretty busy. My mom went to the hospital on Friday because of what looks like a bacterial or viral infection, likely from some bad fruit she ate. They kept her over the weekend, but she's getting discharged today.
Friday night we went to visit my mom in the hospital, and then hung out at Leslie's place afterwards and watched a movie.
Saturday I went sheep herding, had lunch, went horseback riding, and then to Steve and Erin's to babysit Jacob and Allison. We took the kids to Chevy's for dinner, and they were pretty easy. Both of them were so cute.
Sunday morning was pretty laid-back. We did a little shopping, went to visit my mom, and then Melanie and her boyfriend Henry came over for dinner. Lucas was still afraid of Stubby, who chased him around the couch a few times. So hilarious.
