Weekend

I didn't go into work on Friday. I was having some stomach issues on Thursday, and really didn't feel like going in on Friday and dealing with it again, so I stayed home. I ended up napping most of the afternoon.

(Stomach still doesn't feel great even today - it's like one of those things where it feels icky everytime you eat something.)

So Friday evening we had a couple people come by to look at the kittens. One couple, that had two kids, was really interested in Peanut and Huey, and the other couple wasn't picky, and wanted Louie and Dewey. We really liked both couples, and decided to adopt the kittens to them (we still have them for another week though). We did have a couple people flake out (one guy didn't even call or anything), and had another couple that came by Sunday. They were really nice too, and I suggested they stop by TVAR's adoption fair at Petsmart afterwards - they ended up adopting two from there!

It'll be really sad to see the little guys go, but I think we've found good homes for them.

Deepali also came over, and so did Elaine and the new guy she's dating. Bandit totally flipped out at him at first (luckily no lunging this time, just backing up and barking menacingly), but then after a minute just completely warmed up to him. He's always a bark first, ask questions later kind of dog.

We went to Fuddruckers for dinner, and then rented Ring 2, which wasn't that good. It was scary, but not like the first one, and some parts were just cheesy. Oh well, it's not like I expected more.

Saturday I watched the wretched Cal game on TV - I can't believe we lost to OSU, and I can't believe we played as poorly as we did. This season is definitely turning out to be a "rebuilding" year and not a "reloading" year. Ayoob just has not come up to par yet, and the injuries are killing the team. Still, if we can beat Stanford, it'll be a good year. ;)

I went riding also - I need to do squats I think, because my leg strength is still not very good. Tried to get up to a lope, but couldn't manage much more than a fast trot.

We had dinner with my family at Hot Pot City (hate how you smell when you leave that place). Everytime I go there I just eat tons of pork, it can't be good for me.

My brothers came over afterwards and we watched Napoleon Dynamite. Still funny, although I was so tired I fell asleep halfway through.

Marc was up in Elk Grove most of Sunday, so I just kind of bummed around the house and watched a little football.

You all wish you were as productive as me, I know it.
