Busy!

I've been so busy at work this week, I haven't had any time to blog. I think I'm probably going to have to start blogging from home, because work is going to be like this for at least another month.

Funny though, now that I finally have a few minutes to sit down and blog, I can't think of anything to write.

I finally entered Bandit into the agility trial. We're competing on February 12 in Pleasanton at the fairgrounds. Going to run the Novice A standard and jumpers courses. Should be fun! I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck.

Oh, remember that coffee place I go to, where the owner always thought I wanted a white mocha instead of a regular mocha? (He still sometimes asks me which I want.) Well, there's a younger worker who always remembers what I want, and he usually has the coffee made up before I even get to the counter to order. I get a double, and for the longest time, it's cost $3.25. But one time he charged me $2.75. I didn't say anything, because I just figured he gave me a single by accident, which was no big deal.

The next time I went in, he charged me $2.75 again. So this time I asked, "Is it $3.25 for a double?" He said yes. So I figured then that he must have forgotten, and assumed I always ordered single mochas. No big deal, and it was cheaper anyways. But the other day, I went in, and he gives me my coffee, charges me $2.75, and says, "oh, it's a double." So I guess he's giving me a discount - I feel weird though, like I'm cheating. Do I just take the discount?

Anyways, the kitten in the picture above is our new (and third) foster. She's so cute! And sweet! I haven't thought of a name yet - any suggestions?

Our other foster, Lucy, is really, really attention-seeking. I had her in our office with Bandit, and she kept following him around. It was pretty cute, she'd go up to him and rub her head against his. Poor Bandit kept trying to get away. He finally went to lie down under my desk, and she went over and lay next to him. I guess now he knows how we feel!

Lunch is over. Back to work. :(

Maybe the coffee guy is trying to keep your business by making the regulars happy. Or maybe he doesn't like working there and is trying to "get back" at the establishment by giving you a discount. Steve had that happen at Togos when he used to go there regularly - the girls who worked there would stamp the "club" card multiple times so he could get a free sandwich faster.

Or maybe he liiiiiiikes you. Hee.

Your kitty is so cute. If he was a boy, I'd call him Blackadder.
