Hole in the Carpet

It turns out that at some point in the night, Bandit cleared out a circular patch on our hallway carpet. I say cleared out, because oddly enough, he didn't chew through the carpet padding. All he did was pull out the carpet fibers. The padding is perfectly intact underneath.

Why he did this, I don't know. He hasn't chewed on anything in a while, and he certainly has enough bones around. Anyways, it's a perfect little circle about the size of a cookie in the middle of our hallway. I'm going to see if I can't "re-thread" some of the carpet fibers into the padding. I'm sure it'll look horrendous either way.

There were a few other things I wanted to blog about but I can't remember....oh yeah, driving into work this morning I saw a woman full on driving while doing her hair, hairspray, and makeup. She was NOT driving well either. Idiot.

My coffee place continues to give me discounts. The other day I went in, and the young guy made my coffee, while the owner rung me up. I asked for a cookie too, and the owner got that for me. When I got in my car to leave, I discovered that he had given me two cookies for the price of one! And whenever the young guy rings me up, and I buy a cookie and a coffee, he charges me $5, which is less than what it should be. The last time I got that though, he only charged me $4.75. I think he just makes this up as he goes along.
