More Staging Stuff, and Other Stuff

Anyone who's visited us knows that we have a "pot shelf" by the stairs to the loft, and that it is currently occupied by Marc's extensive M&Ms dispenser collection. Well, the staging lady suggested that we clear it off, so that they could put some flowers or books there.

Yesterday, Marc said, "Well, I'll definitely remove most of them, but I don't see what's wrong with leaving a few!"

I fear this may be a more difficult transition than even the bedroom TV.

Another thing we have to take care of is my office chair. Marc and I bought ours together, and I made the mistake of buying a cloth one with a house full of pets. Needless to say, 3 years later, my chair is in deplorable shape. Part of one arm rest has been chewed off, as well as the cushion, and there's countless holes and stray strands of fabric from Stubby's teeth and claws. I really should take a picture. So we're either going to have to hide it or dump it and get a new one. I think a desk without a chair might look weird, so I'm leaning towards getting a new one.

Other Stuff

Watched "American Idol" and "LOST" last night. The bottom three on AI really surprised me, and I was bummed to see Mandisa go instead of Paris, who I can't stand. Chris is still my favorite. "LOST" was great, and I couldn't believe the ending!

I also started reading "What Wendell Wants," which is a book about dog obsession. ;) I started reading the first chapter and was laughing out loud. I told Marc we have to read it together, because it so perfectly describes us, right down to the husband pouting because the dog was getting more attention than he was.
