Marc and I came home yesterday, after the maids and the staging lady had left. Thankfully, all plants were intact, and our cats were not dead from being poisoned.
Our house looked different! They actually changed a bit more than I thought they would - mostly it was just adding stuff. A few things were odd - we put out some place settings, and they put pinto beans in the plates and topped it off with a yellow pepper. It looked okay, but still...odd.
Anyways, it's kind of cool - our house feels like a model home now. But it's weird in that it doesn't feel like our house anymore!
We did have to put away all the flowers so that the cats wouldn't chew on any of them - it turns out that practically all plants and flowers are poisonous to cats - daffodils, lilies, ferns, tulips, you name it - although I think we can safely have roses (just not the Christmas variety) and daisies.
I'll have to take some pictures tonight - I would have last night, but I was busy working on a presentation for work. I made 16 slides, all loaded with pictures, and found out this morning that I only need to present 2 of them, haha.
I'll be happy when this week is over, as it's been uber stressful. We definitely have too much going on in our lives right now all at the same time. There aren't enough hours in the day!
