Yesterday, the lady who does the house staging came by to do her evaluation. It was pretty interesting.
There isn't too much we have to change in the house, mostly just tidying up some stuff and removing some personal items like pictures and such. We're going to remove one of the couches in the family room and stuff it in the garage.
The one bad part was when she suggested that we remove the TV from our master bedroom. I can't imagine what she thought when she saw the looks of frozen horror on our faces. Remove the TV??? We're going to do it, but it's going to be difficult. Sniff.
I can't believe we are actually going to sell our house. It makes me a bit sad. And scared!
Hey, it looks like the sun is out, sorta. I don't think I'll be having agility class tonight, as I'm guessing the yard is soaked. The trial is Sunday, and we haven't practiced in 2 weeks. Oy!
did you already find/buy a new house?
No. :) We have at least a few weeks before we can even put our house on the market, and us buying a new house is pretty much going to be contingent on us selling this one.
What's wrong with having a TV in the bedroom? Is it just to make it look bigger?
I think that's part of it. The other reason was because our TV is blocking the armoire, and she says it's better to show off a nice piece like that.
