Hooray for a calm, quiet weekend.
Marc and I went to see Ice Age 2 Friday night. It was hilarious. I think this one was funnier than the first. There were points where I was laughing so hard I was literally crying. No dogs in the theater this time, although there was some massive police action right outside.
Saturday we started cleaning up the house to prepare for selling. I started cleaning up my desk in the office, which was a total mess. I got pretty far before I decided I needed a nap. When I woke up, Marc had finished the office (and the loft). It never ceases to amaze me how CLEAN he gets things. Like, my definition of neat and clean doesn't even come close to his. I don't think I'm physically or mentally capable of cleaning a space up to his standards. You know like how dogs see color, but it's all drab and not as vivid as we see it? Marc sees things in super duper clean, and I see things in not-so-clean.
We also bought me a new desk chair, to replace my really shabby one. If anyone wants a comfy office chair and doesn't mind that it looks like it has an afro and has a few chunks missing, let me know.
The realtors got the "coming soon" signs up, which made me scared and sad at the same time. I'll be much more excited when we start looking at new places.
So most of the weekend was spent doing house stuff. We had dinner with my parents and brothers Saturday night, and my brothers came over after to watch Fun with Dick and Jane, which was fairly amusing.
