Rant Time

Well, I shouldn't say ALL people who smoke in their cars, although I'm not fond of smoking in general. It's just the damn people who think the world is their ashtray. You know, the people who flick their ashes out of their car window, and then as the final insult, flick the butt out. Last I remember, cars came equipped with ashtrays, do they not? But I guess these people are just too fucking lazy to clean them out. So hey, just throw your shit on the ground instead.

I was driving to work this morning, and this lady in front of me was constantly flicking her ashes out the window, before finally flinging her butt out there, nearly hitting my car. This isn't the first time it's happened either, and I swear, I want to strangle these people. I'm sick of driving down a freeway, and watching cigarette butts bounce around on the pavement, and I'm not exactly thrilled with ashes hitting my car.

It's one of those things that makes me absolutely homicidal.

Apologies for the rant, but I had to get that off my chest.

Last night I actually called in to vote for "American Idol" for the first time. I did try once before, but couldn't get through, and forgot to try again later. This time I called late, and voted for Elliot three times, and Taylor twice. Mostly, because I don't want to see Katherine win. She has a nice voice, sure, but she has a way of hamming it up to the camera that never seems quite right (the right way to do it would be a la Kelly Clarkson from the first Idol). None of the final three thrill me all that much though, now that Chris is gone.

I also watched the Giants game last night, and watched them hammer the Astros 14-3. Sharks play tonight - hopefully it's not the last game of the season for them.

Lastly, here's a video of an interview with one of the members of the church that has been protesting at military funerals (and yeah, they've got kids holding the signs too). Sick, sick, sick woman. See kids, this is why inbreeding is bad.
