TGIF

Yesterday we met with a painter to get an estimate on painting the outside and inside of the new house. The outside hasn't been repainted since the house was built 10 years ago, so it could use some cleaning up. It's not a disaster by any means, but it's not great.

The problem is that it does need a bit of work, so it's going to be expensive to do. Marc has budgeted for stuff for the new house, but this is a bit outside of that, which means we may have to sacrifice some other stuff if we want to do it. And the other thing is we have to pick colors (and get them approved by the Homeowners Association), which is a bit challenging.

I'm pretty excited to get moved in and start the work on the house. I think it's going to be a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

Bandit and I are competing this weekend in Palo Alto. If he actually manages to qualify both days, he could get his title(s) finally. If anyone wants to watch the event, it's being held at Greer Park, and the trial starts at 9 am on both Saturday and Sunday. We probably won't get there until 10 or 11, since Novice classes run last, and the trial will probably finish up around 2 or so.

Oh, and Cars comes out today! Gotta see that for sure.
