"Cool" as in it was less than 100 degrees this weekend! It was actually fairly nice, so it was a welcome change.

My work sucks. They've blocked even more websites now, including eVite, for some inexplicable reason. We can still get to CNN.com, but the Entertainment section is blocked. Lame. Youtube is still available though!

Well, my work implemented this new internet filter, and they've blocked like practically every site. So no more IMs, no more Xanga/LiveJournal, no more anything. I thought maybe they'd just block the p0rn and stuff, but they really cracked down. In fact, they even blocked so much, that one of my work applications (that requires web access) no longer works. Which means I haven't been able to analyze any data for two days. I can see this improving my productivity already!

Yesterday after work I went and picked up a bunch of live rock (200 pounds of it - though I'm only keeping 125) from a guy who was tearing down his reef. Relatively speaking, it was super cheap - $1/pound - because buying live rock from the fish store costs about $5-$6 a pound. Crazy.

So the floors managed to arrive yesterday. I went home early to wait for the shipper, and even though it was supposed to be curb-side delivery only, the guy was nice enough to back the truck onto the driveway and put the pallet in the garage, so I didn't have to move anything!

I was going to upload some more pictures (actually, just one), but my camera battery died, and I didn't have any charged. So it will have to wait until tonight!

Weekends are way too short, and I feel like we accomplished way too little!

Apparently, Barbaro (the horse who won the Derby but shattered his leg in the Preakness) has developed laminitis, and now his prognosis for survival is poor. How depressing. Hopefully he can pull through.

They've apparently shut down the heating system in our building for the week, and I am FREEZING. I even have a little space heater in my office and it's not nearly enough. God forbid if I have to walk through the hallway to go to the bathroom.

Got a few cute pictures of our foster kittens yesterday. These guys are so much fun. They can sure eat though! Every time I walk into the room to feed them, they're surrounding me and meowing like they're absolutely starving. Then they pounce on the food. Crazy!

Well, I didn't quite get everything done on my list this weekend (to be honest, I can't remember what exactly was on my list from Friday). We didn't get the blinds up, but we DID start on cleaning out the fish room (can you believe we have to clean already?).

Wow, I think I haven't blogged in over a week now. Slacker.
