I was going to upload some more pictures (actually, just one), but my camera battery died, and I didn't have any charged. So it will have to wait until tonight!
Marc had a dinner for work last night, so I was on my own. Normally, if we're not eating together, I'll get something that Marc doesn't like. I was originally going to get pho, but a steamy, hot bowl of pho didn't seem appealing on such a hot day. So I got Arby's instead.
Seriously.
I also picked up a bunch of tools from my dad, who has even more tools than I thought he did. I made a trip to Home Depot too, and very quickly spent $75 of my gift card.
I came home, ate and watched the Giants game on TV, then put down some more contact paper in the cabinets until I ran out. I hope I can find the same paper again, because one of my shelves is only 3/4 done.
I thought about unpacking a box or two, but couldn't decide which ones, so I gave up on that idea.
Instead, I popped Underworld: Evolution into the DVD player. It was a perfect night to watch it, because Marc would never watch it with me. It wasn't too bad, and it had lots of Scott Speedman in it, so that was good.
That reminds me - don't rent The Hills Have Eyes (did I blog about this already?). It is seriously the worst movie I have ever seen. Marc and I only got through about an hour of this movie, and it was an hour too long. Not only was it stupid and pointless, but it was completely offensive, and I'm not usually easily offended by disgusting things. Maybe it was because we rented the unrated version. It actually got more good reviews than I expected, and supposedly the second half was better, but I just couldn't take any more.
At least I know for sure that I will NOT be seeing or renting Little Man. Egads.
Anyways, I also stopped by Fry's yesterday to pick up NCAA Football '07. Should look pretty cool in HD, and I hear they finally got the Cal fight song in there.
Time to finish a few things here at work before I go back home to wait for the floors.
