So the floors managed to arrive yesterday. I went home early to wait for the shipper, and even though it was supposed to be curb-side delivery only, the guy was nice enough to back the truck onto the driveway and put the pallet in the garage, so I didn't have to move anything!
The floors look very pretty in their boxes.
I spent most of the rest of my afternoon backing up all the pictures on my computer. I've been having some booting issues lately, and I'm worried about the hard drive failing. I think I've burned 14 or so CD's already, and I'm still not done. At some point Marc and I will have to get an external hard drive and ghost both our comps.
I also started patching up holes in the fish room floor left by the darn tack strips. So tedious. I've only gotten 2/3rds of the way along one wall, so there's quite a bit left to go. Then there's also the matter of cleaning up the carpet glue. Not hard, but also tedious. I'm hoping to have the floor done by the weekend, so that we can concentrate on the wall on Saturday.
One cool thing I totally forgot to blog about earlier was that Marc got us tickets to the John Mayer/Sheryl Crow concert in October, so I'm pretty excited about that.
