To add to my work-internet Saga of Grand Annoyance, I discovered yesterday that while I'm still able to access gmail and Yahoo! mail, I can't send file attachments, nor can I receive them. I can understand them not wanting me to receive any, but darn it, I should be allowed to send them.
On the bright side, I discovered that I can access certain messageboards by going to each board directly, rather than accessing the forum index, which is seemingly the only thing that is blocked. Joy!
Emma got adopted yesterday, and she was the first I figured would go. Kittens that look like her don't often show up in the shelter. Even though we've only had her for about a week, it was still sad to see her go. It always tears my heart a bit, because I worry that we haven't placed them in a good home. You can only tell so much by phone and in person, but you'll never really know. I usually touch base with people a couple weeks after the adoption to get updates, and most are nice enough to send me pictures. So hopefully these guys will work out, they seemed nice.
One of my fellow fosters actually asked me yesterday if I wouldn't mind sharing my craigslist template with her - I guess she liked it! I need to clean it up tonight though, because I was in a hurry when I made it, and the code is an ugly mess.
Marc and I went to visit Snoopy at the vet after work yesterday. He looked pretty good! He was acting totally normal, and we took him for a short walk outside, where he had what had to be the most disgusting diarrhea either of us has ever witnessed. I guess that's what happens when your intestine has been blocked for so long.
Marc's flying out to LA tonight for a business meeting, so I'm on my own for a bit, although we're having dinner tonight, and he's coming back tomorrow. So really, I'm only going to be sleeping alone. Bandit likes to sleep in Marc's spot when he's not around, but he usually doesn't like to sleep in the bed over night. That's okay though, 'cause sometimes I like to sleep all spread out like a crazy person.
It'll be nice to have the day off tomorrow. This day's not even half over yet, and I'm already looking forward to it.
Only 25 days until Cal football starts! I already bought tickets to our game vs. Minnesota on Sept. 9. If we win our opener against Tennessee, this could be a very fun year.

Hey Bonnie ... you didn't buy season tix for football? Yay, then I can go with you to games. :)
Glad that Snoopy is doing well!
Uh, the above comment was by me. :)
No, I decided not to, because my brothers couldn't decide what they wanted to do. Marc also didn't feel like spending the money on it, so we'll probably just do as before, and buy individual tix for certain games.
