Yesterday was quite an unproductive day (although at work I was very busy). But I basically came home, had dinner, played games on the computer, and then we took the dogs for a walk before bed. I accomplished nothing!
So tonight I'll have to make up for it. My light rack still isn't completed, so the goal is to get that done tonight. If we have time, I think we'll also maybe go buy some wood for the fish tank project. I also need to take new pictures of the kittens for their adoption ad. Lots to do! I think we've decided on names for the two girls finally: Shadow for the gray one and Kuma for the tabby. Mouse was another possible name for the gray one.
Other Bits
My mom called me up the other day to see if I wanted a brand new pair of Nike's. Apparently my aunt had bought them for my cousin, who for some reason couldn't use them, and so she gave them to my mom. They were size 9, which was too big for my mom to wear. So she called me. I told her, "Thanks, but that's too big for me too. I usually wear a size 7. In fact, I think my feet are the same size as yours."
She said, "Are you sure? These shoes cost $55! It's just going to waste!"
"Yeah, I'm sure. There's no way I can fit into size 9 shoes."
"What if you wear socks?"
"Mom, socks are not going to make up for two shoe sizes."
My mom cracks me up.
Also, I don't think my cousin is taller than me, so either I have unusually small feet, or she has gargantuan ones.
This news is a few days old, but I thought I'd post it for Cynthia's interest. Her Mel got arrested for a DUI, and was apparently not a very nice boy in the process. Ruh roh.
Ha! Maybe your aunt bought the wrong size for your cousin? I'm a bit taller than you, and I wear size 8-8.5 usually (depending on the shoe style). Size 9 would be too big for me too!
yeah, i've been reading all the yahoo articles on mel gibson. how sad...i may have to move on to Hugh Jackman now.
Poor Cynthia. But yeah, it's probably good to move on. Mel's getting long in the tooth anyways.
