Marc was finally able to talk to the vet, who had spoken with the pathologist regarding Snoopy's tumor and treatment.
It looks like the tumor had good, clean margins, which I think means that it was pretty well contained, and didn't penetrate into areas beyond the intestinal wall. Had there been penetration, I think there would be more concern about metastasis, but the vet and pathologist think that because there wasn't, and the tumor and surrounding intestine were removed, that Snoopy may not even need chemo. The vet still has to talk to an oncologist today to confirm, but so far the news is promising.
The kitten adoptions are starting to pick up a bit. It's been going slowly so far, mostly because I think there are SO many kittens out there. Thankfully, kitten season is winding down. I may have found a home for Jack and Oscar - the family is supposed to pick them up next week. And I even helped a fellow foster find one of her kittens a home with a really nice lady (who was interested in Jack).
Ruh roh - Haley Joel Osment may go to jail - say it ain't so, Haley Joel!
Hmm, that's all I have for today! My stomach has already moved on to what to have for lunch, and my brain is quickly following.
