I totally forgot to blog that we were going on vacation, a fact that I was reminded of when Deepali called me Monday night wondering why I hadn't responded to any of her e-mails, and checking to see if I was okay. Sorry Deep!

I'm really starting to appreciate YouTube. I mean, you can find almost anything on there. Feel like reliving the classic stylings of the opening credits to "Beverly Hills, 90210?" Here you go!
Marc came home last night, and told me, "You ARE a geek." (In reference to yesterday's blog.) Which is fine by me, because I embrace that side of me. Embrace it, I say!
But this is SO AWESOME.
I kick-started our weekend by taking Bandit sheep herding on Friday, where it was very cold and windy. It got dark early too, which marks the time of year when we switch our lessons back to Saturday mornings. Bandit had a good 'ol time as usual - he LOVES to work the sheep.
Woohoo! I'm doing a little happy dance, because Nintendo just announced the release date for the new Wii (the name is growing on me...slowly) system. November 19, and only $250! Much cheaper than the gaudy $599 that Sony wants for the PS3.
It took me two hours to drive into work this morning. TWO. HOURS.
Well, this weekend was far more enjoyable than the last one!
Good news - my mom was discharged from the hospital yesterday! The doctors were finally satisfied with where she was at, so they felt comfortable letting her go home. She's not totally out of the woods yet - she'll have to go back to the hospital every day to have her blood checked, and she's still going through some treatment.
We lost our first fish in over a year yesterday. I came home and found our little cleaner wrasse lying on the bottom of the tank. :(
Can we just forget this past Saturday even happened? I keep trying, but it's not working. Last night, I couldn't fall asleep because all I could think about was the God-awful shellacking Cal suffered on Saturday. I mean, this was Monday night, and I still couldn't sleep. How sad is that?
On our rugged Eastern foothills, Stands our symbol clear and bold, Big "C" means to fight and strive And win for blue and Gold. Golden Bear is ever watching; Day by day he prowls, And when he hears the tread Of lowly Stanfurd red, From his Lair he fiercely growls. What's he say? He says:
Grrrrrah, Grrrrrrah!
Grrrr, Rrrr, Rrrrrah!
