It's been a pretty low-key week so far, so there hasn't been much to write or bitch about, haha.
Last night was a short night, as I had to take Bandit to agility class. I really got on him on his contacts, and he did much better. Now I just need to be consistent about it.
My instructor and some other people were talking about the trial, and apparently someone lodged a complaint against one of the ladies that was competing because she "roughed" her dog during the trial. I guess her dog didn't do well, and she wasn't happy, and it sounds like she picked the dog up by the collar and was generally rough with it. That's a big no-no, and can get you kicked out by the judge.
The thing is, it's all supposed to be FUN, and some people just take it way too seriously, a lot like some parents of kids that play sports. I get super nervous during a trial, but I think that's mostly due to having to compete in front of a bunch of people. I'm disappointed when we don't qualify, but I never get mad at the dog (especially since he always looks like he's having a blast regardless).
Anyways, this morning I went to get coffee for the drive to work at my usual place. Sadly, it seems that the young guy who used to serve me all the time no longer works there. I think he may have gone off to culinary school. But the owner still knows what I get, and I saw him start my mocha right when I pulled into the parking lot.
He asks me if I want anything to eat, and I said, "Yeah, I'll have an almond croissant. No wait, make that a chocolate croissant" (I had been debating this in my head the entire way to the shop). So he goes and gets me my pastry, and rings me up for that and the coffee.
I get in the car, and as I'm driving down the freeway, I reach over to pull out my chocolate croissant. I look in the bag, and not only is there a chocolate one in there, but an almond one too! I guess he decided to give me both, in case I changed my mind again, haha. So now I have a free breakfast for tomorrow!
Okay, I think that's about it for today - I'm gonna see if I can finish prepping the wall opening for the fish tank tonight, and hopefully we can get the stand in there this weekend. Should be able to get a lot done this weekend, since Cal is on a bye. ;)

Bonnie,
Looks like you got a "sweet" deal!
Hee, your coffee people are so nice! :)
