Things are chugging along at Marc and Bonnie's house. It's still a mess, but it's getting cleaner!
My dad and Kenny came over on Wednesday night to help out. My dad and I worked on finishing up the floors, and Kenny and Marc worked on the kitchen cabinets.
My dad and I managed to get all the floor pieces down, and Kenny and Marc got most of the hinges on the cabinets. I was home from work yesterday, so I worked on getting the baseboards installed, as well as the transition molding (the strip that goes between the pergo and the kitchen tile floor) installed. The transition molding was a PAIN. It took me two hours just to do one strip. There's still stuff to be done, so we're not totally done yet, but we were at least able to move all the furniture back into the family room.
Marc and I managed to fix the leaking bulkheads on the tank, so I think we're okay to fill it all the way with water now. Cross your fingers!
The outside Christmas decorations are done, although we still have to get our tree up and finish decorating inside the house.
Speaking of Christmas decorations, I'm sure everyone has seen some of these already, but this one was pretty well done - it's a video of Christmas lights set to music (you'll want to have the sound on):
We managed to throw away a bunch of junk yesterday, so there's now actually room to walk around in the garage.
Marc is officially on vacation now, so he's at the mall shopping for presents as I type this. He did manage to go to Best Buy and score three(!) nunchucks for my Wii! They didn't have any wii-motes though.
Alright, time to go finish up my last day of work before vacation, woohoo!

You guys are like super-home-improvement heroes!
