Found Cat

I left work a little early yesterday to go find Stubby. It took me about a minute to find him - I went out into the backyard, and he was there, standing on top of one of the garbage cans. So he did somehow manage to sneak through two doors without Marc noticing.

I don't know if he'd stayed in the backyard all day, or if he had happened to return when I got home. Either way, he seemed happy to see me.

Since I was home early, I went and ran a few errands. I took Bandit along for the ride, although the errands took a bit longer than I expected. I think he got pretty bored towards the end.

Kenny came over after dinner to help us work on the kitchen cabinets. Even with a paint sprayer, it's still taking a lot of time to paint these. I continued work on the fish tank plumbing. It's such tedious work! I just want to put water in the damn thing already. Wahhh.

I've been following the news on the SF family that got lost in Oregon. I couldn't believe that they found the mom and daughters alive and in relatively good shape. I just hope they're able to find the dad okay now. I told Marc that stuff like this makes me want to train in search and rescue (I'd thought about it before, but I'm not sure Bandit has the temperament for it). It would be nice to be able to actively help in situations like this.

In more superficial news, Vaughniston is no more. Funny that just before they broke up, she met him at this hotel in London - the same hotel where she met up with Brad Pitt before they announced their divorce. Methinks that hotel is the kiss of death.

I'm glad you found Stubby!

Looks like you need radar devices on your doors and windows. "Warning, non-human escaping."

Man, the SF family story just has me so sad (the father didn't make it). I kept hoping that they would find him, alive. I just admire his courage though, and his love and sacrifice for his family. I also admire their resourcefulness.
