I probably won't be able to blog until late next week, because Sunday night I fly out to Palm Springs to attend a work conference.
January 2007 Archives
Well, I meant to blog sooner, but just haven't had the time. So it's time to catch up!
Our zoo got a little smaller this weekend, as Snoopy passed away on Sunday.
Marc and I saw a cheesy commercial for this thing called The Lil' Reminder the other night.
Another work week just about done and over! I actually managed to get a few things accomplished last night.
The new expansion for World of Warcraft was released last night, and a lot of EB Games stores held midnight release parties. I preordered my copy last month, but I didn't stay up until midnight to go pick it up.
Picked up a couple new fish this weekend! Marc (and everyone else) really like the powder blue the best, so we ended up getting that one instead of the blonde naso.
Nothing better to commemorate the end of a work week than a great picture. Seriously, is there anything cuter than a baby panda cub?

Okay, I don't really mean that, but I do hate that things become obsolete so quickly in the computer world. I've been having problems with my new monitor in that it takes forever to show a display after I turn it on. It worked fine for the first day, but has been having this problem since, and I think it may have to do with the fact that I set my display to the monitor's native resolution after that first day.
Well, it looks like Marc and I may have a new car tomorrow (I say "may" because I don't want to jinx anything).
So my office has always been on the chilly side, mostly because the heater has never worked properly. I constantly have it bumped up to 80, and it never moves from 68. I bought a small space heater which helps, but the past couple days it has been absolutely freezing in my office.
Well I had plans to get a lot of things done this weekend, but unfortunately it doesn't feel like we really got all that much accomplished. Mostly, I blame the darn car shopping.
We got home a little late last night, so by the time we finished dinner, there wasn't much time to do a whole lot. So I spent all my free time working on the tank.
Well, the car buying process continues. We posted the Mazda up on craigslist to try to see if we could sell it on our own - most of the dealers were offering a nice price on the car, but they were subsequently not willing to discount the new cars as much.
Whee, finally got some pictures taken and uploaded yesterday. I didn't have too much time last night, because Marc and I spent a bunch of time trying to buy a car. More on that later.
Whew! It has been a crazy week! I guess that's why we call it the chaotic zoo. ;) I hope everyone had a great holiday week, and was able to enjoy the company of family and friends.
