The new expansion for World of Warcraft was released last night, and a lot of EB Games stores held midnight release parties. I preordered my copy last month, but I didn't stay up until midnight to go pick it up.
I can't play it anyways, since my character isn't high enough level yet - I've been busting my butt this past week (I know, I could be doing more useful things with my time) to get there, but I'm one level short. If I work at it, I might be able to get there in another couple days.
Anyways, it's probably better I didn't go, because I heard the crowds were pretty large - like 100-200 people at each store. Crazy. They were apparently big 'ol nerd fests as well. Boy, I'm glad I'm not all nerdy like that.
By the way, if anyone is looking for some cards from the Star Trek:TNG Trading Card game, I don't need mine anymore.
Anyways, it looks like Jeff Tedford has agreed to a 4-year extension to his contract, which now goes to 2013. Obviously, there's no guarantee he stays for the full term, but it's a good sign to see.
That's about all I have to write about today, sadly. I have a lot of things to catch up on (like pictures, dammit!) to make things more interesting.
