Yippee, Friday

I have a lot of projects that I need to tie up loose ends on too.

I did manage to get started on some of my pictures last night, but ran out of time to upload any of them. I can't seem to get a decent shot of the clam - and unfortunately, when you look at it from the front of the tank, you can't see any of the green coloration. I can see it looking from the top, just not from the front. I'm sure it has something to do with the kelvin rating of my bulbs, but it's kinda disappointing. Still, it's pretty though.

Speaking of the clam, I looked at it this morning and saw that it had completely separated itself from its foot. I read that they'll do that sometimes, and it's fine, so I hope it's okay.

The only other thing we really did yesterday was watch the "American Idol" results yesterday. Stop reading now if you don't want to know!

So I didn't really pay that much attention to all the contestants when they sang, but I was supremely bummed that Antonella didn't get kicked off, because I thought her performance was a train wreck. Off key the entire song. Plus, I've never liked her or her "God does good things for good people" friend, who awesomely enough got cut right after she made that statement.

Other than that, I was disappointed to see the only Asian guy get cut. He didn't have the best performance, but I thought Sundance Head was way worse. Us Asians, I dunno, I think we're forever relegated to the karaoke bars - good thing we like them so much! (For the record, I have never been.)
