Today's my Friday, again! Yay for Spring Fling day tomorrow. :)
Our dryer appears to be broken - when we turn the dial to start, it hums, but won't actually start. Stupid cheap dryer (it's the one that came with our previous house). I'll guess I'll be spending part of my evening tonight trying to figure out what's broken.
I wanted to finish uploading my pictures last night, but just had no time. By the time I was done with agility, dinner, and doing a water change on the fish tank, it was time for bed. I did get to watch a bit of "American Idol" (not really surprised by the result), but didn't get to watch "LOST" at all.
Ordered a new lens for the camera today - the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens. Very inexpensive for what's supposed to be a pretty good prime lens. I think the only other lens I'll ever want will be a fisheye, but I'm in no hurry to get one. I still need a good flash, so that will come first, and even that isn't a priority.
Not sure what I'm going to do with my day tomorrow. I can either laze around the house and maybe do a few chores, or I can go out and do something fun (which usually means browsing at all the various fish stores, hehe). I've been thinking of getting some flowers to plant in the yard, but I don't know if that would be a waste of time, since Bandit might just destroy them. Also, I have such a brown thumb, anything I plant will most likely just die. I think if I actually bothered to spend some time researching it, like I do with caring for corals, then maybe I'd have better luck, but I just can't seem to get motivated to do it.
I was looking through some old blogs, and came across an old picture of our clownfish and anemone when we first got them 2 1/2 years ago. Hard to believe we have had them both for that long! It's really cute to see how much both have grown - I wish I had a better reference in each picture, but I think the clown was about 1" when we first got it, and the anemone was probably about 1 1/2". Now, the clown is around 2 1/2"-3", and the anemone has split once, and the half that I kept is now about 9" or so fully opened. Here's the picture from when we first got it:

And here's the picture I posted the other day, which only shows part of the anemone:

Amazing that both survived the move and the yucky temporary tank I had them in for 6 months. :)
