Since I didn't do anything else after agility class last night than watch television, this whole blog is pretty much going to be about "American Idol" and "LOST," so don't read on if you don't want spoilers or if you don't care.
April 2007 Archives
Monday night, after work, Marc and I went out to go get dinner and some stuff at the store. As we were pulling out onto Dublin Blvd., I got a call on my cell phone.
I have this one soft coral in our tank that grows like a weed. I got it for free at a frag ("frag" is short for "fragment" - ie, a small piece of coral) swap last year. It started out very small, but grew pretty quickly, and it managed to survive even in the yucky conditions I had in the temporary tank after we moved.
There were too many things going on on television yesterday! Marc and I sat down to dinner, and watched the Sharks game. Then "American Idol" came on, and we had to flip to that. We started flipping back and forth between the two.
Marc and I both left work a bit early yesterday to try to see if we could beat the FedEx guy to our house. Sadly, when we got home, we could see that there was a delivery tag on our door. The package required a signature, and apparently he was going to redeliver the next day.
The tracking information from FedEx as of Saturday said that my new computer wasn't going to be delivered until the 19th. Well, like Dell, they lie too! Because apparently it is on the truck and out for delivery as I type this. Which is sad, because I'm not home to sign for the package.
I gotta rant first about stupid people. Was driving to work this morning, and traffic was slow, but not horrible. Nonetheless, I spotted this Honda Civic, passing people by driving on the shoulder.
They lie, because they told me my computer would ship on the 19th, but apparently it has already shipped! Woohoo! Marc is glad too, because that will mean we won't have to fight over his computer for much longer!
I broke down and bought a new computer yesterday. It was either that, or buy a new power supply for my current one, and that seemed sort of a waste considering that I was probably going to upgrade this one soon anyways.
As of yesterday, Bandit's official AKC entry will now read, Bandit NA, to reflect his new Standard Novice Agility title!
Well, I guessed the bottom three on AI correctly, but I guess I missed the boat on who was actually going home. Or maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part?
Hmm, for some reason I just can't think of a title for today's blog. Rather than sit here for 10 minutes to try to think of one, I've decided to just not.
Congratulations to Steve and Erin, who welcomed a new baby girl on Friday! Marc and I got to see little Jennifer on Saturday, and she is cute! That makes three baby girls born to people we know in the span of about a month. Whew!
