Marc and I didn't carpool this morning, so I ended up leaving the house later than we normally do. Unfortunately, when I got on the freeway, I discovered that there had been an accident in Sunol on 680, and it was a parking lot for miles. So rather than sit in traffic for an extra hour, I turned around, went home, had breakfast, and then went back out. Traffic was much better by then!
Not the best day in Bay Area sports last night, as the Sharks got eliminated (2nd round again...sigh), and the Warriors lost. The Giants won though, so I guess that's one bright spot.
One thing I forgot to blog about last week regarding AI (I'm just going to refer to "American Idol" as AI from here on out, I'm tired of typing the whole thing) - they had a performance by Robin Thicke, who I found out is the son of Alan Thicke of "Growing Pains" fame. I've seen his song on XM, but I always switch stations, so I've never actually heard it. Anyways, I hated it. We watched it, because we wanted to see if he looked like his dad (he does), but he sings this song entirely in falsetto, and it just sounds...weird. I finally did listen to a bit on the radio, and I didn't like it any better there. But it's amusing that Jason Seaver's kid is a pop singer.
Hmm, Marc bought some Triscuits I guess, which I have here with me at work, and they taste funny. Whatever flavor this is, I don't think I like.
Anyways, I don't think I have anything else to say today! It was a relatively dull night in our household. But TONIGHT! Is AMERICAN IDOL!
