You might remember that a while ago I blogged about how we found all sorts of junk (newspapers, boxes, jars) behind some bushes at the front of our house. We cleaned it out, and were suspecting that some kids were playing there.
Marc and I went to Blockbuster Friday night in the hopes of renting a movie to watch. I know, who were we kidding, right?
Marc and I had a really involved discussion the other day in the car on our way to work. I think we both ended up in agreement, but I wanted to see what other people thought.
No house projects got done over the weekend, but that shouldn't be a surprise by now. Leslie (we're leaning on him now that Kenny's in Phoenix, ha!) came up Friday night and we went to watch Ocean's Thirteen.
Woohoo! Finally done with work for the day, it's almost time to enjoy the weekend.
Looks like I'm only going to one concert this summer - it was just announced that Kelly Clarkson's tour is being postponed (which I guess makes sense - the album is literally coming out two weeks before the tour was supposed to start). So that one's gonna have to wait. I'm so bummed. Poor Kelly is having a rough summer.
We kept pretty busy this weekend, although once again we failed to get any real house projects done - like finishing the kitchen cabinets. Marc and I are seriously considering just hiring a handyman to come and finish the job. How sad is that? Or maybe we'll just wait until door-less cabinets become trendy.
I love Fridays. Last day of work, and the day of the week where you have the most amount of weekend to look forward to. I'll be pretty busy today too, so the day should at least go by quickly.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed with house stuff at the moment (I'm not even going to get into it, because it'll just stress me out), but I just keep telling myself, "one thing at a time" to calm my brain.
I should first mention that they're doing re-runs of "American Idol Rewind" now, starting with the top 30 performances. Woohoo! "Rewind" is airing on CW stations, I believe (channel 44 in the BA), and WGN on cable. Saturdays and Sundays - usually they air it first on Sunday, then repeat it the following week on Saturday. So this Saturday will be the first group of 10 in the top 30 (Tamyra, Ryan, and Jim's group), and Sunday will be the second group of 10 (Kelly, Justin, and AJ's group).
