Feeling a bit overwhelmed with house stuff at the moment (I'm not even going to get into it, because it'll just stress me out), but I just keep telling myself, "one thing at a time" to calm my brain.
My own laziness is starting to annoy me. That phrasing sounds weird, but it makes sense? Like, I have stuff to do, and I want to do it, but I want even more to just veg out and sit in front of the TV or the computer or play Guitar Hero. And then I stress afterwards about all the stuff I have to do. I suck!
Anyways, hehe, I got woken up at 3:30am last night, when I heard Bandit make a little whimper-bark. He makes that noise when he's (presumably) dreaming, so I didn't think much about it. He did it for a few more minutes before the barks started to rise in volume, until he let out a loud BARK, which woke me up completely. Turns out he wasn't sleeping, but rather lying in the hallway, barking at the bed to try to get someone's attention. He had to go outside, badly, and it was rather comical to watch him race over to the grass.
Poor guy had to go out twice - dunno what he ate, but he must've eaten something. Poor me couldn't get back to sleep right away, which is a bit unusual for me, so I probably lost 45 minutes of sleep or so.
We spoke to Kenny on the phone last time for the first time since he moved - he seems to be doing well, although he's a bit overwhelmed at his new job. I guess there's a lot he's having to take in.
Anyways, work has been pretty busy lately...although at the moment I'm just finishing up lunch and enjoying Kelly's new single, "Sober" (it's not about alcoholism, heh). I'm such a fangirl, but I'm in love with this song. It's so much better than all the crap that's on the radio right now. AOL has a stream of the radio edit here.

Poor Bandit! (And Bonnie for lost sleep!)
The cat woke me up two nights ago by jumping up onto the side table, knocking off my glasses and hitting the alarm clock into the wall in the process. I put her out of the bedroom and shut the door, and then couldn't sleep for quite a while either. (I took a nap later, though, heh heh.)
