I should first mention that they're doing re-runs of "American Idol Rewind" now, starting with the top 30 performances. Woohoo! "Rewind" is airing on CW stations, I believe (channel 44 in the BA), and WGN on cable. Saturdays and Sundays - usually they air it first on Sunday, then repeat it the following week on Saturday. So this Saturday will be the first group of 10 in the top 30 (Tamyra, Ryan, and Jim's group), and Sunday will be the second group of 10 (Kelly, Justin, and AJ's group).
Anyways, so our weekend wasn't crazy-exciting, but we kept somewhat busy, even if we didn't accomplish our goal (*cough*cabinets*cough*). We watched The Pursuit of Happyness on DVD Friday night, and it wasn't bad. Thandie Newton looked a bit rough, although I guess she was probably supposed to look that way.
Marc slept in 'till past noon on Saturday, because he woke up with a migraine. I didn't do anything productive in the meantime - just listened to music and surfed the 'net. We ran some errands in the afternoon, I think. I can't really remember.
Deepali came over and had dinner with us, and then we went and bought Guitar Hero for the XBox, and ended up playing that all night. That game is a lot of fun, although man, your hand starts to cramp.
Sunday morning I got up early and took Bandit herding. We had finished up, and I was standing around chatting for a bit, when I looked over at the dog, and found him absolutely covered in mud. Someone had dumped some dirty water on the ground, and Bandit can't resist puddles. He was standing there, just furiuosly digging at the water and flinging mud all over his body. He was literally black all over, and his nose was covered in mud too. This other student that was there took a picture, so I'll have to post it when I get it.
Luckily, I was able to hose him off before I had to put him in the car.
We spent part of our afternoon doing a little cleaning - Marc cleaned up the office, and I worked on the fish room (and snuck in a few minutes of Guitar Hero too). After that, we drove down and went to play badminton with my parents.
We ended up playing for 2 and a half hours, which was fun, but exhausting. We didn't get home until almost 8pm! I'm somewhat sore today too.
Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Guitar Hero rocks! (And Bonnie was really good, she started hitting 95% of the notes within the first night!)
Hee, whenever you are ready Bonz, it's competition night. ;) (Though you'll kick my butt, but I'll give it a good try)
