It wasn't easy, but I stayed up until 1 am last night and finished Harry Potter! I won't comment further on it, in case anyone hasn't read it yet, I just wanted to say that I'm done. I think I'm going to go back now and read the whole series from start to finish, because there's so much stuff I just don't remember.
I just found out that Nintendo is coming out with a new game for the Wii this summer, called "Boogie." It's supposed to be this mix of karaoke and dancing. Stoked. So excited for this, I tell ya. Now, if they could make a game that combined Guitar Hero and karaoke, I'd die and go to heaven.
Lindsay Lohan was arrested this morning for DUI and possession of cocaine. Which is like, the least surprising news ever.
Our house right now is even more colorful than before, as the painters yesterday laid down the sealant coat. Marc says one side of the house is a dark blue color (I didn't see it myself) and the rest of the house is a tan color. Why there are different colors, I don't know. I think today they are taping and doing other prep work. I'll try to remember to take a picture. Tomorrow they start putting down the actual paint. Exciting!
We didn't do much yesterday - we stopped by Best Buy on our way home from work to pick up my dad's birthday present (we bought him a stand for his new TV) and also bought a new vacuum cleaner, which puts us at #3 for this house. Our first one was a little pricey, our second was very cheap (and lasted two months), and this one was pretty expensive (not Dyson expensive though). We'll see how this one does for us - it got good reviews with regards to holding up to pet hair.
Oh! Mo got adopted yesterday! Someone called us up, and asked if they could meet him, and they adopted him on the spot. It's an elderly woman, who was looking for a companion and also something for her grandkids to play with when they come over. She and her daughter seemed nice, so I hope it works out. Mo is pretty energetic, so I hope he won't be too much for her. We'll see how it works out. I'm pretty sad to see Mo go - he'd been with us for so long, so it kind of felt like he was part of the family. I went to go feed our cats last night, and got a bit sad when I realized I didn't have to feed Mo. I also really hope he's got a good home now, moreso than other cats we've fostered, I think. It's almost like giving one of our own cats away, so I really care that he does well.
So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The last time we adopted a cat to an elderly lady it didn't work out so well. But this lady has had cats before, so I'm hopeful it will go well. We'll see.
That's about it - my Yahoo! mail account seems to be letting a lot more spam through these days, which is pretty annoying.

Awww ... Mo! But I hope this ends up being a good match. He's super loving!
Yeah, I want to read the HP series again, but just reread 5-6. I think those are the most important, the Wikipedia pages are pretty good for 1-4.
