I cut back on reading the news for a few months a while ago, but lately I've been checking cnn.com and other news sites more regularly, and I'm reminded again why I stopped in the first place. It's so damn depressing.
Anyways, was browsing news just now, and came across a story about how some food vendors in China are making steamed pork buns out of cardboard. And I love steamed pork buns!
Now I'm hungry. I'm trying to diet (again), and it's killing me. Like right now I could seriously go for a slice of pound cake. Mmm...pound cake.
Or a steamed pork bun. That sounds good too.
Side note: saw another news item about the annual running of the bulls - which, IMO, is one of the shining examples of human stupidity and machismo. The more idiots that get gorged, the better. See, this is why I can't read news - because people are just so fucking stupid.
