I managed to resize all my NYC photos last night, but didn't get around to uploading any of them, as I got sidetracked by Guitar Hero. ;)
I think I'm still recovering from our "vacation" because last night I dozed off while watching TV at around 8. It probably didn't help matters that I was watching TV in bed, under the covers, with a warm doggie head laying on my chest.
I'm going to be pretty busy at work the next two days, but hopefully I can get some sort of entry up about our trip. Other than that, there's not a lot to write about - I'm just excited about the start of the college football season this weekend. Let's hope the outcome is better this year than it was last year at this time!
There was a funny clip Marc and I heard on the radio on our way to work yesterday - it was an answer given by one of the contestants in the Miss Teen USA competition. I found a clip of it (naturally) on YouTube. So freakin' hilarious.
So many gems, where do you even start? "U.S. Americans," "THE Iraq," "everywhere like, such as." I'm thinking Miss South Carolina might be a member of that unfortunate 1/5 of Americans. Such as, idiots.
Apparently, the Today show also had her on, so that she could explain her answer (she chalks it up to being "overwhelmed"), and as a bonus, they let her try to answer the question again (snicker). That video is here.
She doesn't fare all that much better, saying that we need more "geography in our education" so that people will learn how to read maps better. Because map reading is our problem! Bear in mind, she probably had time to formulate this answer. Ahahahaha.
