Marc and I were originally going to go horseback riding this morning, but he changed it so that I could watch the Cal game. The nice thing about the time zones is that the game was on at 9:30am. Roll on you bears!!!
I almost didn't want to watch the game, because I was so nervous. Almost everyone was picking Cal to lose, and Oregon was looking pretty strong. It ended up being quite the nailbiter - I couldn't bear to watch or listen the last half of the fourth quarter - but the Bears won! Huge, huge win - and it looks like they'll be ranked #3 when this week's rankings come out, because Florida, West Virginia, and Oklahoma all lost today. Crazy. Texas lost too, and that's always a bonus.
After the game, Marc and I drove down to Waikoloa and explored the area, doing some shopping and eating. We're going back there in a couple hours to have dinner at Roy's. We spent some time in the pool too, although our sunbathing plans were foiled by the fact that the clouds rolled in.
Not sure what we're going to do tomorrow - we may try to go snorkeling, or maybe drive to the Volcano (which is 3 hours away). Leslie is flying in tomorrow as well.
I need to start taking pictures!

the game was really good! but it was funny cuz the game went over the 3 hours, and so at one of the critical moments the recording appeared to stop, but then luckily my friend recorded the next hour too just in case. glad you guys are having fun!
