Could a different improbability be happening? Is X-Files 2 actually going to get made? Supposedly, according to this article, the movie is tentatively slated to start shooting in December. Of course, I've been hearing that "Bionic Woman" was supposed to come out on DVD for ages now, and that has yet to happen.
If it really, truly happens, I'll be stoked. Dunno how many people would go see the movie, but I for sure would be there! TV just hasn't been the same for me since that show went off the air, haha.
Anyways, not much else going on, aside from trying to stay awake at work here. I had a meeting this morning with my boss, so I had to get in at 7:30 to prepare some data beforehand. Funny thing - at the end of our meeting, my boss asked if I wanted to grab some coffee (we have a Starbucks stand at the cafeteria), as he had these $3 coffee vouchers. My boss ordered a hot grande mocha, and paid with his voucher. I ordered an iced grande mocha, and as I was handing over my voucher, the checker told me the total was $3.09. Oops. I had zero money on me, and my boss ended up having to fork over a dime for me. No idea why ice would make it cost more.
Oh, Marc and I were watching TV the other day, and all of a sudden, a dark, transparent stripe appeared on one side of the screen. A quick search online revealed that the problem is caused by a mirror in the light engine coming loose and getting in the light path, causing a shadow, which is what the stripe is. We bought the TV a year and a half ago, which means it's out of warranty, but thankfully we bought an extended warranty - something I almost never do, but made an exception in this case, because I read that DLP bulbs need replacing after about 3 years, and the warranty covers bulbs, and ends up being not that much more expensive than a replacement bulb. So hopefully we'll be able to get this fixed without too much trouble.
