I always have these random bits of minutiae floating through my mind during the day, and I always mean to blog about them, but typically end up forgetting about what they are by the next day. Oh well.
November 2007 Archives
I've been meaning to post these pics for a while, but you know how that goes. I still have yet to upload our Hawaii pics. Sigh.

Seems like it's been forever since I blogged - I got busy last week trying to finish up some things before the break. Plus, there just wasn't that much going on.
I skipped my agility trial on Saturday (it was a two-hour drive to Santa Rosa for one run, so I wasn't exactly highly motivated to go to begin with) in favor of watching the Cal-Washington game on TV. Turns out, the two hour drive to Santa Rosa might have been more fun.
Marc and I left work super early yesterday to make the drive - in commute traffic - up to Sacramento for the Kelly Clarkson concert. We got to our house around 4, took care of all the pets, and then hit the road again. Traffic was pretty crappy, but we got up to Sac-town at 6pm - the concert started at 7:30.

Marc and I didn't carpool yesterday, as he had to work pretty late. I ended up staying a bit later than normal myself, and didn't get home until around 7:30.
Today is Marc's birthday! His birthday treat for today will be dinner and watching the 49er's game on TV, hehe.
Had a discussion with coworkers today about cilantro. Apparently there's a theory that there's a genetic basis behind whether or not you like cilantro. I hate cilantro. They say some people think it tastes like soap - I've never really thought about what it tastes like to me, except that I find it very yucky. There's even a website called ihatecilantro.com. I've always wondered why so many people like it. What does it taste like to everyone else?
I meant to upload the pumpkin pictures from Halloween on Friday, but was stuck in the lab most of the day, and wasn't able to get around to doing it. But here they are now!
Well, Marc and I didn't get dressed up this year - tried to think of costumes, but just couldn't think of anything neat. We did decorate the front of the house - fog and strobe light and everything. Marc also downloaded a bunch of scary sounds, which we had playing through the window. I actually wonder if there were any kids that never made it to our door, hehe.
