Had a discussion with coworkers today about cilantro. Apparently there's a theory that there's a genetic basis behind whether or not you like cilantro. I hate cilantro. They say some people think it tastes like soap - I've never really thought about what it tastes like to me, except that I find it very yucky. There's even a website called ihatecilantro.com. I've always wondered why so many people like it. What does it taste like to everyone else?
Anyways, it's probably apparent that I don't have much to write about given that I haven't blogged in a few days, and here I am discussing cilantro. It's been pretty much the status quo around the house.
Yesterday I wasn't feeling so great at work (hadn't been feeling too hot all week), and I didn't have anything on my schedule, so I went home early and passed out in bed. I had some weird dreams too...well, not so much weird, but stressful. Like distorted and exaggerated scenarios of simple things I was worried about. And then I got woken up by an annoying phone call. So that was great.
I finally started playing "Metroid" on the Wii, which is pretty fun so far. The game makes use of the remotes in a lot of clever ways. I could never get into the previous new incarnations of "Metroid" because they kind of scared me. The new one does too, but for some reason not as badly. There are things here and there that really remind me of the original NES game, which was oh-so-cool.
So that's about it. I'm still in a dilemma over which cell phone to get. I'm leaning towards the smaller, cheaper Venus, but the Voyager is intriguing. Either way, I'll be glad to get a new phone, as my RAZR doesn't even last a day now before running low on battery.
