Wow, crazy weather today. I did learn one cool little feature on the Acura though - the windshield wipers automatically slow down when the car is stopped (like at a light), since they usually don't need to "wipe" as frequently when the car isn't moving. Then when you start moving again, they go back to regular speed. Neat.
I'm back at work today, although still not feeling great. By the looks of the parking lot, a lot of people have decided to either stay home today, or come in late.
Yesterday I made chocolate chip muffins. Marc took two of them out this morning and put them on the counter. Then he went to put some stuff in the car. When he got back, Bandit was in the kitchen with a guilty look on his face, and the muffins were gone. Wrappers and everything. Just gone. There literally was no trace of muffin anywhere. I doubt he even took the time to chew.
Found a cool video (well, cool to me) of a border collie at a herding trial. Dunno why, but I've never tried before to find a video of a bonafide trial (I've only ever gone to a couple small local matches). The beginning, the outrun, is ridiculously far. It's pretty damn cool to watch the dog move the sheep through all the gates, crossdrive, pen, and shed. All with the handler standing in one spot.
Dunno if I'll be herding this weekend with the rain and all, but I kind of hope we do, because it's pretty darn fun running around out there with mud, sheep, rain and a dirty dog. :)
Oh, on a different note, I totally forgot to mention Cal's win in the Armed Forces Bowl on New Year's Eve! Amazingly, I kept watching even when we were down 21-0, but I'm glad I did, because they came back and played a pretty nice game.
Lots of changes for football it looks like - the WR and DB coaches both were just fired (so maybe Longshore was throwing the right routes after all, and the WR's were the ones running the wrong ones?), and rumor has it that Trent Dilfer (old Tedford protege) will be brought in as QB coach/OC.
Anyways, I think that's all I've got for today. Have a good weekend everyone!

We also won in basketball yesterday against 22nd ranked USC! Go Bears!
